LAI
Pei-Chun
Holds a Master’s degree in
Western Art History from the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts, National Taiwan
Normal University. Currently working as an independent curator, focusing on the
research and development of art education programs and guided tour mechanisms.
Based in Taoyuan, her practice is rooted in local history, everyday culture,
and the promotion of contemporary art.
She believes that the
unique power of art lies in its ability to transform knowledge into
experience—reshaping how the world is understood and perceived. Her work
explores the intersection of Taiwanese culture and contemporary artistic
expression. She has curated international exchange exhibitions in Japan and
South Korea, introducing outstanding Taiwanese artists to global audiences. She
is also actively involved in art education projects and community-based art
initiatives in collaboration with local schools and neighborhoods.
